Thank you to everyone who attended the investigations and experiments at Mary King's Ghost Fest 2010!!
Below are the audio files that were recorded during the experiments conducted over 18th & 19th March 2010 at Mary King's Close. The clips are raw files and have not been filtered in any way. If you would like to have a go at filtering these files, you can download free filtering software by clicking here
If the files do not automatically download when clicked, right click a file, a menu should appear, select 'Save target as' (Internet Explorer) or "Save link as" (Firefox) and choose a destination for your file before clicking 'OK'. Downloading the files will allow you to open them in the filtering software as opposed to listening to them in your browser via a plugin.
Ideally, the files should be analysed using headphones. Unfortunately most modern speakers and headphones are designed boost the bass frequencies, which is not good for EVP analysis. To counteract this, raise the 'pitch' in each file before listening. For analysis advice, please email mark@ghostfinders.co.uk We would very much like to hear your perception of what is being heard in these files and will use your feedback for research purposes. If enough people email us, we will report the findings on our website. We do recommend the use of headphones when listening, however please be aware that some of the audio can be rather loud. Please listen using a low volume to avoid the risk of damaging your hearing.
